Let’s throw it back to the year we expanded to Ondo State, through one of our committed volunteers; Zechariah Akinmoladun.
In 2021, the objective was to expand the organization’s mission of supporting the less privileged across other states in Nigeria.
Our director selected Ondo State as one of the beneficiaries of this initiative. Though the outreach began with challenges, especially at the grassroots level. These were overcome through the hardwork and dedication of our volunteers in Ondo State.
Key focus areas included:
1. Identifying a suitable outreach location
2. Gaining a strong understanding of the environment
3. Ensuring acceptability from the host community
The C.A.F.E 1.0 (Children & Adults Feeding Exercise) outreach was successfully held at a Catholic Church in Iwaro-Akoko, Akungba, Ondo State, where numerous individuals, including those with mental health challenges were fed.
