To commemorate Vahal Foundation’s anniversary in April 2023, we organized a thought-provoking symposium titled “Beyond Yahoo Yahoo: Harnessing Internet for Good Use”. This impactful event centered on empowering secondary school students to leverage the Internet for value-based activities and skill development, steering them away from fraudulent practices.
The symposium aimed to:
1. Educate secondary school students on the vast potential of the Internet for good.
2. Encourage the use of digital platforms for value-based activities and skill acquisition.
3. Deter engagement in fraudulent online activities like “Yahoo Yahoo”.
4. Foster a culture of positive digital citizenship among young minds.
